How We Brought WWOO Stateside
In 2016, Gregg and Gina Hoffman bought a Big Green Egg and needed an enclosure to complete their own outdoor kitchen. While researching, they found the WWOO website headquartered in Holland and learned the Dutch brand was looking for licensees in the U.S.
As luck would have it, their daughter Mary was heading overseas to begin a study abroad program, which gave Gregg and Gina the perfect opportunity to visit the WWOO headquarters and check out their manufacturing process. After their visit, there was no question that they had to bring WWOO stateside and incorporate the concrete outdoor kitchens into their thriving landscaping business.
At WWOO we aim to cultivate outdoor spaces where people can create lifelong memories with friends and family.

How WWOO Concrete Outdoor Kitchens Streamlined Our Design Process
Gina works in real estate as a team leader for the Hoffman Group, and Gregg has owned Outside Matters, a high-end landscape design business for over 20 years based in El Segundo, California where they have raised their family.
Having the unique perspective of speaking to people searching for new homes and those looking to transform existing spaces, they found a high demand for modern outdoor kitchens.
WWOO Concrete Outdoor Kitchens are inspired by Dutch designer Piet-Jan van den Kommer and consist of modular pieces for easy customization and variety. While we had customers we built custom outdoor kitchens for in the past, the WWOO kitchens can be completed within 1-2 days making them the perfect addition to our landscaping services.
Five years and 100’s of kitchens later, WWOO California is excited to continue growing and creating the outdoor kitchen of your dreams!
